Center Volunteers (Year-round)
Center volunteers help ensure that visitors and those contacting Stonewall are directed to the resources and information they seek. These roles support a welcoming, inclusive environment.
Center Greeter
- Offer exceptional customer service
- Greet visitors
- Answer a multi-line phone
- Provide electronic and print resources
- Assist with light administrative duties as needed
- Foster and support a positive and inclusive environment
Time commitment: Shifts are three and a half hours, Monday-Friday. Shift windows are Morning Shift: 10am-1:30pm, Afternoon Shift: 1:30pm-5pm. Volunteers are expected to show up 5-10 minutes before their shift to ensure proper set-up and/or to ensure proper hand-off for the next shift.
ASL Interpreter (Programs & Events)
Stonewall Columbus seeks volunteers to assist with ASL interpretation for programs and events throughout the year. Our goal is to promote communication equity and ensure meaningful access for community members who are deaf or hard of hearing.
