Founded in 2014 through the Pride Leadership program at United Way of Central Ohio, in 2015 Family Pride Network became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to connect and support children, families, and prospective parents in the LGBTQ+ community through social events, educational programs, and professional resources–it was in 2015 the organization held the first variation of the now annual Pathways to Parenthood symposium.
In 2021 Family Pride Network and Stonewall Columbus merged and continued operations under the Stonewall name with FPN becoming Family Pride Network | A program of Stonewall Columbus.
Today FPN serves as a space for LGBTQ+ people creating and maintaining families.
