Stonewall Columbus Pride Holiday 2005 was a huge success thanks to YOU!!
On behalf of Stonewall Columbus Staff, Board and the Pride 2005 Committee, we would like to thank the Columbus GLBT Community, all of our allies, supporters, sponsors, volunteers and all of those from Columbus, around Ohio and the surrounding States that attended our Pride Holiday Parade and Festival this year. It is because of you that we had a record breaking attendance of nearly 100,000 people. The float winners for this year’s competition were Hot Chicks for “Most Outrageous”, Maynard UMC for “Best Contingent”, Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus for “Best Pride Theme” and Kaleidoscope for “Best Float”. Congratulations and special thanks to all of the wonderful floats that were entered this year. Our Harley Davidson Raffle winner was Suzie Simpson. Suzie’s name was drawn at our Stonewall Pride Brunch by our Pride Brunch Sponsor Elliot Fishman with The Legacy Fund. Congratulations Suzie!
Again, thanks to all of you for your ongoing support of Stonewall Columbus and the GLBT Community. It is because of your generosity and ongoing commitment that we are able to continue to provide over 50 programs and services, meeting spaces for numerous organizations as well as host many Community building events for our Community through out the year. Thank you for uniting and showing us the true meaning of the word “One”.
