COLUMBUS, OH – On Friday, October 3, 2025, Stonewall Columbus invites the community to Come Out for Stonewall: The Rainbow Rewind — a high-energy, retro-themed celebration honoring 45 years of LGBTQ+ advocacy, community, and resilience in Central Ohio.
This milestone year marks not just nearly five decades of advocacy, but also a historic achievement: the official dedication of the Stonewall Columbus Ohio Historical Marker, making Stonewall one of only four LGBTQ+ historical markers in the state.
Hosted at the Stonewall Columbus Community Center (1160 N. High Street), the evening begins at 7:30 PM and promises bold fashion, nostalgic vibes, and powerful community connection. Guests are encouraged to show up in their favorite throwback attire — from 80s neon tracksuits and 90s flannel to Y2K metallics, indie hipster aesthetics, and queer futurism from the 2020s.
“This isn’t just a party,” said Densil Porteous, Executive Director of Stonewall Columbus. “It’s a reflection on the decades that shaped our community—and a commitment to fueling the next generation of LGBTQ+ visibility, advocacy, and joy.”
Tickets go on sale August 1, with early bird pricing available. Stonewall Columbus Pride 365 Leader and Champion sustaining members receive two free tickets, and Benefactor-level members are eligible for discounted tickets.
