Join us for The Rainbow Rewind, an unforgettable evening celebrating the decades that shaped Stonewall Columbus and the LGBTQ+ community in Central Ohio: the bold 80s, the vibrant 90s, the fearless 00s, the powerful 10s, and the transformative 20s. This year’s event is more than a party—it’s a milestone celebration of the decades that shaped us, the people who built us, and the future we’re continuing to secure together.
Expect a night of connection, nostalgia, and joy, with:
- DJ + Dancing
- Live Entertainment
- Small Bites
- Cash/Card Bar (first drink is on us for SWC members!)
- Decade-Inspired Fashion Encouraged
Join us in style!
Pick your favorite decade and show up in style! Think neon tracksuits, flannel grunge, Y2K metallics, indie hipsters, or 2020s queer futurism. Whether you go vintage or remix the eras, show off your pride through the decades.
Introducing the Stonewall Columbus Greer/Grote Building Endowment Fund
At this year’s celebration, we will celebrate the creation of the Stonewall Columbus Greer/Grote Building Endowment Fund, established in 2024 through the extraordinary vision and generosity of Lynn Greer and Tom Grote.
This fund ensures the long-term care and preservation of Stonewall’s physical home—right here in the heart of the Short North.
- Lynn Greer, a pioneering advocate, has championed LGBTQ+ rights since Stonewall’s earliest days. A founder of the national Victory Fund, the Legacy Fund in Columbus, and a supporter of the Stonewall Builds Campaign, Lynn’s dedication helped bring our Center to life.
- Tom Grote, co-chair of the Stonewall Builds Campaign and founder of Equality Ohio, has long worked to expand visibility and justice for our community.
Together, Lynn and Tom created this endowment fund to safeguard the very foundation of our movement in Columbus—our Center. Their leadership and love will live on through this gift, ensuring that our building remains a beacon of Pride and visibility for generations to come.
A Moment of Historic Recognition
This year’s event coincides with the dedication of Stonewall Columbus’ official Ohio Historical Marker, one of only four LGBTQ+ markers in the state. We are proud to commemorate our past while charting a course for our future.
