John William Lord
November 29, 1945 – January 21, 2024
In remembrance, Stonewall Columbus honors the life of John William Lord, an original Trailblazer program member, who passed on January 21, 2024. John’s zest for life led him from Detroit to Columbus, building a life enriched with dance, fitness, and community. An electrical engineer by training, his legacy extends beyond his work, remembered for his love of cruises, wrestling, and ballet. John’s spirit, characterized by his remarkable fitness even at 76, leaves a void in our community. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. A private memorial will be held to celebrate his life.
