Stonewall Columbus is accepting submissions of short plays to be produced in the newly created art space at Stonewall Columbus Community Center, 1160 N. High Street in June 2007, to celebrate and usher in Pride Holiday 2007.
Plays must be ten to fifteen minutes in length with a cast of 2 to 5 people utilizing minimal set and props. The plays should be character driven and should celebrate our community. Comedies are preferred as the show will be presented in conjunction with gallery hop.
The two winning playwrights will receive a full production of their play. Only original plays will be accepted. Plays must not have been previously produced elsewhere.
Please send two copies typed with removable cover page including the author’s name, address, email address and telephone number. No submissions will be accepted through email. Submission must be postmarked on or before April 1, 2007 to be considered for the June event. Winners will be notified in two to three weeks. Plays will not be returned unless accompanied by a self addressed stamped envelop. There is no fee for submission. Playwrights are limited to one entry each. Preference will be given to central Ohio playwrights.
