Stonewall Columbus Presents A Night Out and All that Jazz!
Stonewall Columbus will host the Annual Stonewall Gala Awards Event “A Night Out” on Saturday, October 23rd from 7:00 pm till Midnight at The Vault, 35 E. Gay Street, Columbus, Ohio
This year’s theme, “All that Jazz” will highlight the roaring 20’s era. To celebrate our 23rd year of serving the central Ohio GLBT community, Stonewall Columbus will honor the many contributions of the individuals and organizations that have made a positive impact on the GLBT community. “Despite the strong attacks on the GLBT community, we have also experienced some groundbreaking and historical moments this year. We are pleased to recognize those who have worked so hard to improve the lives of the GLBT community” said Kate Anderson, Executive Director of Stonewall Columbus.
“A Night Out and All that Jazz” sponsored by Smooth Jazz WJZA, will offer the community an opportunity to celebrate and honor our community award recipients. This festive evening hosted by Colleen Marshall and Chris Bradley will include live entertainment featuring The Jim Masters Orchestra and the local talents of Lisa Odierna and De’qawn Henson, catering by Cameron Mitchell, a cash bar, door prizes, a silent auction, dancing and prizes for most appropriately themed apparel. So, don your flapper dress or zoot suit, or even just a tie and jacket and come out for the best Night Out ever “Chicago” style.
