Ladies…Want to spend an evening in a relaxed atmosphere with other women who love to read, express their thoughts and opinions, and have similar interests? Looking for something fun and intellectually stimulating at the same time? Then you are cordially invited to join Stonewall Columbus on Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at 6:30 pm at the Stonewall Community Center (1160 N. High St.) as we launch a new women’s book club. This group is free and open to all interested LBT and allied women. The first gathering will feature an introduction by Executive Director, Kate Anderson, and program overview led by Co-Coordinators, Missy Hossman and Becky Shaw, Stonewall Volunteer Team Members.
The Book Club will be touching on many different aspects of women’s lives and a variety of readings such as: Fiction, Non-Fiction, Biographies, Feminist Thought, Essay Collections, Short Stories, Sexuality and Erotica…just to name a few. “We are so excited about this group and believe it will attract many women in the community that are looking for ways to socialize with others and have meaningful discussions on topics important to us all,” stated Volunteer Missy Hossman. She added, “This group will also provide a wonderful forum for women that love to read and are looking for ways to share their thoughts and reflections with other reading fanatics.”
Please join us on to chat about our group and discuss any ideas that will enrich our experience together. For more information on participating in the women’s book club or other Stonewall programs, please contact Kellye Pinkleton at 614-930-2261 or email at xcvaxyrgba@fgbarjnyypbyhzohf.bet.
