Cathi Castro is a Senior Systems Administrator with over 20 years of experience in IT. She is currently part of a team that focuses on new innovative projects for the Ohio Attorney General’s Office and has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Franklin University. She helped her parents build a computer advising company that worked with small companies troubleshooting computer-related issues.
Cathi has actioned several initiatives and attended essential programs supporting women’s empowerment. For example, she participated in the 2017 Women’s March in Washington, D.C., helped coordinate a Women in IT Group, and volunteered for the Human Rights Campaign (HRC).
She and her partner live in Clintonville with two dogs, loves to travel, and has a solid tie to her family, including her mother, two sisters, and her partner’s daughter and husband.
Cathi believes in connection to the community and frequently coordinates get-togethers and block parties within our neighborhood. Cathi’s passion for supporting the LGBTIA+ community brought her to this opportunity with the Stonewall Pride Steering Committee Team as Volunteer Management Chair.
