Stonewall Columbus Presents the first-ever “LOVE WILL WIN” online presentation in collaboration with Community Refugee and Immigration Services (CRIS). “LOVE WILL WIN” is created and shared by two Ugandan refugees who escaped religious and governmental persecution of their sexual orientation. Our presenters will share their powerful stories about their journey to the United States in hopes of finding safety, compassion and acceptance.
We invite you to join us for this special event. Our presenters would like to share their stories with as many people as possible, so please help us spread the word! Your attendance can bring attention to needed resources and services that will enable our new community members to prosper in their new home.
We invite your church/faith community to host a screening event of this presentation for your congregation. It is important for our faith communities to understand and share this story. The persecution from which our refugees escaped is the direct result of American evangelical anti-LGBT theology of Pastors like Rick Warren and Scott Lively.
