Supervisor/Reports to: Director, Community Programs
Supervisory Responsibilities: Possible (interns/part-time team members)
Classification status: PT/FT Salaried (20 hours weekly; up to 40 possible)
Pay Range: $21.25 – $23.75 (per hour)
Essential Functions: Learn and understand the Stonewall Columbus organization and the Columbus community in an effort to best support community programs in relation to the Stonewall mission. Must be an individual who embraces innovation and continuous improvement, welcoming the challenge of finding creative ways to work smarter and connect with community.
The position requires a thoughtful communicator, both verbally and written; a multitasker who is organized with effective time management skills; an individual that demonstrates a willingness to learn and adapt; someone who strives for the highest standards of behavior, detail orientation, collaboration, and work ethic. The schedule for this position requires weekday/evening hours as well as occasional weekend hours to manage activities to benefit the organization.
Programs Coordination 90%
- Research and identify program and service needs in the LGBTQ+ community.
- Assist, create, and implement relevant and effective programs.
- Design and implement:

- Community needs assessments and program evaluation.
- Recruit volunteers/program facilitators to lead/facilitate programs
- and provide appropriate on-boarding for facilitators
- Oversee effectiveness of current programs and program facilitators
- Manage program facilitator work assignments, workloads and work schedules
- Attend monthly program committee meetings.
- Monitor implementation of program policies and practices.
- Create and maintain program records, reports, presentations and proposals
- Including, but not limited to, program outcome data, demographics of program participants, etc.
- Supervise and manage program budgets and grants.
- Provide program information to marketing team for appropriate promotion of programs through online, print and other outlets as needed.
- Coordinate/schedule space management with business & infrastructure team.
- Lead efforts to recruit and enroll participants in programs and events.
- Conduct follow-up on lapsed participants to reengage as appropriate.
- Represent the Center, through oral and written communications.
- Assist with planning and coordination of programs and their activities.
- Work to keep programs on schedule and functioning smoothly.
- Coordinate program communications.
- Oversee the use of technology for program operations, such as video conferencing technology, presentation software and other communications technologies.
- Design/manage tool for demographic data collection and numbers tracking for those utilizing the Center and its resources.
- Attendance at after-hour, Stonewall activities and community programs is encouraged as a meaningful part of employment in this position to foster a deeper commitment to the overall mission of the organization.
Other Duties 10%
- Collaborate on grant research, RFPs and grant writing.
- Assist Executive Director, Program Director, Stonewall staff, and volunteers in all aspects of the Center.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelors’ degree or comparable experience.
- Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance, and pass a criminal background check.
