Willa Young grew up on rural northwest Ohio and has lived as an adult in Columbus. She works for OhioHealth at present. Willa’s past career was at OSU where she directed a variety of departments focused on student diversity services. While at OSU, Willa served as Chair of the staff council and a member of many committees including the Athletic Council, the Senate Fiscal Committee, and a presidential search committee. Willa is a member of the Leadership Columbus 2009 cohort, and she has been listed in Who’s Who in LGBT Columbus. At present, Willa is a member of the United Way of Central Ohio’s Diversity and Inclusion Council, and she has served as a trustee on several non-profit boards, including Buckeye Region Anti-Violence Organization (BRAVO) and the National Women’s Studies Association.
