Roger is an Ohio native and originally from a rural area North of Columbus. He attended Bowling Green State University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Tourism. After several years as an Event Sales Representative at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, Roger joined the team at Experience Columbus where he currently is a Senior Tourism Sales Manager. One of his responsibilities is marketing and elevating Greater Columbus as a destination for the LGBT traveler.
After completion of the Ohio Tourism Leadership Academy in 2012, Roger has served on the Ohio Travel Association Board of Directors for four years. He was recognized as a 2015 “Top 10 Next Gen” by the Groups Today publication as well as the 2015 Emerging Leader for the Ohio Travel Association.
Roger also is a recent graduate from the Pride Leadership program through the United Way of Central Ohio and is thrilled to take those experiences and serve on the board for Stonewall Columbus.
