CENTER VOLUNTEERS

CENTER GREETER

Stonewalls’ Center Greeters are central to ensuring our visitors and those who contact the Center are directed to the resources and information they seek. This team contributor:

• Offers exceptional customer service;
• Greets visitors;
• Answers a multi-line phone;
• Provides electronic and print resources to constituents;
• Assists with light administrative duties if needed;
• Fosters and supports a positive and inclusive environment.

This opportunity requires a commitment of no less than 2 hours per shift Monday – Friday; 9:30am – 11:30am; 11:30am – 1:30pm; 1:30pm – 3:30pm; 3:30pm – 5:30pm.

ASL INTERPRETER

Stonewall Columbus is seeking volunteers to assist with ASL interpretation for our programs and events throughout the year. Our goal is to provide meaningful programs that serve those who are deaf or hard of hearing by promoting communication equity. Volunteers will work with LGBTQ+ community members during programs and events to allow us to meet the needs of each individual who walks through our doors.

PRIDE VOLUNTEERS

While our Pride is three hundred and sixty-five days a year our Pride volunteers work to help support our annual Pride events in June. As the backbone of what we can accomplish we welcome dedicated, engaged, and committed individuals to express their interest in helping us plan an inclusive and welcoming event representative of the LGBTQ+’s communities rich diversity,
