This Saturday, March 12th 7PM-11PM come out for one of Columbus’s most fabulous events. Join Stonewall Columbus for our annual Federated Drag Skating Championships at Core Com Ice Haus- Nationwide Arena. Tickets are $10 in advance (purchase at Stonewall or Torso) or $15 at the door.
This fun-filled event delivers open skating, a post event party at the Blue Jackets Bistro and a hilarious Drag Skating World Competition that you have to see to believe.
Our Emcees for the event will be NBC4’s Marshall McPeek and 97.1’s Kate Burdett. Our illustrious panel of judges will consist of: Aaron Riley; Executive Director of CATF, Scott Rousku; Owner of Torso, Lynette Howard; President of Yankee Trader, Shawn Ruble; Advertising Director of C Magazine, Kate Anderson; Executive Director of Stonewall Columbus, The King and Queen of Doo-Dah; Charlie Loutzenhiser & Deb Roberts and our returning Bronze medal winner; Beulah Park. Post performance interviews will be conducted by our returning silver medalist Mary Ann Brandt.

WOSU TV will be airing the broadcast of “Postcard from Buster – Sugartime” episode on March 25th at 7PM. This episode almost did not air due to controversy surrounding it because it included children that have two Mothers in Vermont. WOSU, after many community members advocated for this to be shown, decided to air it as a “special” broadcast. Following the program, WOSU TV’s “Viewpoint” will provide analysis and discussion of the Buster episode featuring, Host Brad Mitchell and panelists, Kate Anderson, Stonewall Executive Director; Greg Quinlan, Pro Family Network; and Brenda Hughes, Child Development Specialist.
