This class has been a humbling experience. The speaker series forces you to open your mind and be respectful towards the opinions of other people. By doing this we learn life skills like how to be tolerant, respectful and objective. I began to realize through the second quarter that my opinion is not the only one that matters. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.”

The speaker series became a conversation starter with my parents. I don’t think I have talked to them so much since 4th grade. Our conversations are different now, we share ideas and opinions, they treat me like an adult. I think I like that.”
