Originally from a small town in southern Ohio, Sydney moved to Columbus in 2020 after completing her Masters in Museum Studies with a focus on fundraising and administration from the Cooperstown Graduate Program. She shifted her career and now works in Grant Research Administration at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
Sydney has a strong passion for volunteering. She spent two years in AmeriCorps at the Harrison County Historical Society in Clarksburg, West Virginia, and has also volunteered at animal rescues and music festivals. Sydney volunteered at Pride in 2022 and 2023 and is excited to become more involved by joining the steering committee. She’s also eager to connect with more of the Queer Community in Columbus! Sydney loves spending time with her dog and two cats, visiting museums, and enjoying anything related to science fiction.
