It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the passing of LeeAnn Massucci, Jan. 19, 2025, a dedicated advocate, community leader, and cherished member of the Central Ohio LGBTQ+ community. LeeAnn’s unwavering commitment to justice, equity, and the well-being of others has left an indelible mark on all of us.
As a long-standing supporter of Stonewall Columbus and a vocal advocate for equality, LeeAnn deeply understood the importance of building a stronger, more inclusive future for all. Her contributions to initiatives like those celebrated at the Columbus Metropolitan Club Forum: Stonewall’s 40 Years of Impact underscored her commitment to amplifying the voices and stories of the LGBTQ+ community. Her life’s work served as a testament to the power of advocacy and community building, and her legacy will continue to inspire us in the years to come.
LeeAnn’s influence extended far beyond her professional accomplishments; she touched countless lives with her compassion, generosity, and dedication to advancing LGBTQ+ rights. Her presence was a constant reminder of the power of community and the importance of standing together in the face of adversity.
