In this exhibit, Color Fields, Andrea uses discarded, donated, and domestic clothing to create large-scale panoramas, organic formations, and shifting shapes. For the artist, colorful fabric functions like tubes of paint to create her artwork. Andrea earned her BFA and MFA at the Art Institute of Chicago. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. She lives and makes art in Columbus.
This structure is the product of arguably the most important architect of the modern era. It was designed in 1906 and built in 1908. Through the cooperative efforts of the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy and the Westcott House Foundation, today the Westcott House is a revitalized example of Wright’s legacy.
