On Thursday, July 15th the Trailblazers will be going the Columbus Museum of Art for a docent-led tour of Raggin’ On: The art of Aminah Robinson’s House and Journals.
In 2015, Aminah Brenda Lynn Robinson bequeathed almost her entire estate to CMA. For several years, CMA documented that gift and the vast amount of art, journals, and other ephemera that remained in her house. Raggin’ On: The Art of Aminah Brenda Lynn Robinson’s House and Journals is the first major exhibition of the artist’s work since her death and a celebration of Robinson’s work, vision and the home, and neighborhood she cherished.
We will meet in the lobby of the Museum at 11:00AM for our tour. Following the tour, we will have lunch in the Museum café. Thanks to the generosity of the Museum, our admission, and parking is complimentary. Lunch in the café is self-pay. This is limited to 30 people, so please send your RSVP soon.
RSVP to zyzvyyre@nzrevgrpu.arg When you reply let us know if you are staying for lunch. We need to make reservations at the café.
