For decades, LGBTQ+ identities have been under a microscope—marginalized in political, social, and cultural spaces. Our identities are often debated more than they are defended. While we’ve witnessed meaningful progress, this fight is far from over, and we are once again facing a wave of regressive policies and rhetoric, particularly targeting trans and gender-diverse communities.
As we prepare for the next phase in our political landscape, we ask: What does the future of LGBTQ+ advocacy look like? How do we turn frustration into focused, strategic action? What does organizing look like now—across identities, across movements, and across institutions? And how do we move beyond performative allyship and toward shared, sustained liberation?
