We offer free legal assistance to change your name and gender on your identification.

During Virtual Name and Gender Change Legal Clinic hours, trained attorneys provide one-on-one counseling about the gender marker- and name-changing process for Ohio citizens.

How to Register

Step 1: Complete and submit the intake paperwork below.

Step 2: We will review your paperwork to make sure it is complete and contact you with available clinic appointment dates and times.

Step 3: Respond to us with the appointment date and time that works for you.

Step 4: We will confirm your appointment on a first come first serve basis. We will send you a Zoom link or phone number for your appointment shortly before the clinic.

Intake paperwork is required at least 48 hours in advance of the virtual legal clinic. If the number of clients exceeds the capacity of the volunteer attorneys, the legal clinic coordinator will work to accommodate you at a future legal clinic!
