LGBTQ+ Beyond Body Image Group

We are excited to offer a new outpatient group designed to explore the intersectionality of body image and LGBTQ+ identity. This group aims to address the unique barriers to ED recovery and body acceptance that can occur when one’s affirming body and recovering body are not aligned. Group members will be asked to share their lived experiences and perspectives in a supportive setting and will be provided with psychoeducation and resources to aid in their recovery journey from an affirming lens.

Program Description:

• Open group with 4-week minimum commitment
• Ages 16+ accepted
• Internal and external referrals accepted
• External referrals must go through standard admission process and meet outpatient level of care criteria
