Inequities Across a Spectrum

Please join the SPAN Ohio Equity Committee as we discuss the history of LGBTQIA+ healthcare in Ohio, where it is today, and what we can do to help fight inequities moving forward. This will be a three-part event followed by a Q&A session. We have great community members and physicians lined up for this event that are embedded with the LGBTQIA+ community and they are excited to share their stories with you. Below you will find an agenda of this 1 1/2 hour event.

Part 1: History of LGBTQIA+ healthcare in Ohio & the needs that current clinics are trying to fill from the perspective of a physician in the field

Part 2: Needs that are missing in the LGBTQIA+ community despite subjective advances in legal rights from the perspective of a community volunteer and member

Part 3: 3-person panel of LGBTQIA+ community members to speak on their experiences
