10:30am Hike Start Time – will leave from the Shelterhouse
John Bryan State Park
3790 State Route 370
Yellow Springs, OH 45387
We will leave the Shelterhouse PROMPTLY for the hike at 10:30am so please arrive a little early. There are restrooms on the premises.
Cookout after Hike at the Shelterhouse – Please bring a side dish to share. Hot Dogs and Veggie Burgers will be provided by Stonewall Columbus.
We will be hiking the “North Rim Trail” which goes into Clifton Gorge Nature Preserve (which means no pooches… sorry). Up and back it is approx. a 4.5 miles hike and should take us 2 hrs. This is a medium level hike, wear shoes with good treaded soles.
We will be meeting at the lower Shelterhouse which can be accessed through the SR 370 Park Entrance. Stay to your right at the fork in the road after you enter the park. Go all the way to the bottom of the road and you will dead end into a circular parking lot. The Shelterhouse is right beside that parking lot.
