This long awaited and groundbreaking survey features more than 200 works of art and related visual materials that explore the profound impact of the LGBTQ civil rights movement on the art world. Art after Stonewall highlights a wide array of conceptual, performance, film, and video art, as well as photography, painting, sculpture, music, along with historical documents and images taken from magazines, newspapers and television. Meet at the Museum by 10:45am for the tour which starts promptly at 11:00am.
Enjoy lunch after the tour in the Schokko Art Cafe at the Museum. The café is right inside the main entrance on the first floor. Lunch is individual pay. The exhibition is free.
