Steven Nikolakis (he/him) joins Stonewall Columbus as the Development Coordinator, bringing a unique blend of marketing expertise and a passion for community engagement. His previous role at Blackbird Baking Company as a Social Media Coordinator and Baker showcased his ability to effectively combine creative marketing strategies with hands-on product development, leading to significant business growth.
Originally from Cleveland, he made the move to Columbus in 2023. Steven studied Marketing and Entrepreneurship at John Carroll University but decided to follow his true passion for the culinary arts.
At Barrio Tacos, as a Marketing & Graphic Design Intern, Steven demonstrated his flair for impactful marketing and design, contributing to enhanced customer engagement and brand presence. His tenure at VividFront as a Marketing & Social Media Intern and later as an Executive Assistant to the CEO, further honed his skills in content creation, customer interaction, and strategic planning.
With experiences at Blackbird Baking Company in Lakewood, OH, and Pistacia Vera in Columbus, OH, Steven honed his skills in the culinary world. However, a desire to explore his untapped passion for community-based work and development led him to this exciting new chapter.
In joining Stonewall Columbus, Steven sees not only an excellent opportunity to make meaningful contributions to the LGBTQ+ community but also a chance to align his innate passion for helping others with a greater purpose.
Steven can be found enthusiastically exploring every nook and cranny of the city in search of the finest sourdough and dirty chai latte it has to offer.
