K is an experienced marketing and community leadership professional, currently at Nationwide, where they lead marketing strategy for products within the innovation portfolio. Before Nationwide, K held roles at bio-tech startup Forge Biologics, community healthcare system Equitas Health, and Leadership Columbus.
K has a passion for the LGBTQ+ community and the advancement of Columbus as a creative hub. K was the Co-Chair of the Human Rights Campaign Dinner 2023 and Wonderball 2020 at the Columbus Museum of Art, and currently serves on the board of advisors for The Legacy Fund, a fund of The Columbus Foundation benefitting the LGBTQ+ community. They have also served on the board of The Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus and on various committees for the Public Relations Society of America and Columbus Humane.
Alongside eco-couture designer Celeste Malvar-Stewart, K also worked to create Olly Awake, a brand which rejects the oppressive gender binary and intentionally designs apparel to be gender equal, high-quality, and produced ethically in the USA using sustainable textiles.
K lives downtown in Columbus with a plant they are desperately trying to keep alive and is an avid lover of art and design, film (especially sci-fi, drama, art-house) and a good Manhattan.
