Joshua Snyder-Hill has a history of leading change in LGBTQ equality in both his professional and personal life. Joshua is a Senior Divisional Field Sales Leader at Alliance Data and member of the LGBT Diversity Committee, Board member of Freedom Ohio and Stonewall Columbus, founder of MarriageEvolved, Alive Magazine’s 2014 “Person to watch”, a member of AMPA, MPFC, as well as, former National Pride Coordinator for KeyCorp.
Joshua and his husband, Stephen were plaintiffs against the DOD & DOMA in a lawsuit led by SLDN. They were co-founders of the “C-Bus of Love” project, a first of its kind, which took 25 couples to Washington DC to be married at the Supreme Court days before the Supreme Court DOMA ruling. They set precedence for LGBT Ohio couples who married outside the state by fighting Ohio’s probate court ruling that denied their name change and won.
Joshua travels the country, giving media interviews, speaking at universities, community centers, and Pride events. He and his husband’s message is to use the power of your voice by telling YOUR story, whether an ally, or part of the LGBTQ community.
