Jen Bowden has two decades of experience driving transformation and change within companies and teams. She currently serves as general manager of SCANA Energy, one of Georgia’s largest and most trusted natural gas suppliers, and a subsidiary of IGS Energy. Additionally, she has responsibility for marketing and social impact for IGS Energy. She created the organization’s social impact team in 2014 and since has led organizational initiatives in philanthropy, innovation, diversity and inclusion, sustainability, brand and marketing transformation.
Before joining IGS Energy, Jen was the vice president of community relations for the Columbus Blue Jackets, Columbus’ NHL hockey franchise. She spent the first part of her career in the non-profit sector, leading fundraising and policy work at literacy, conservation, and hunger-relief organizations.
She was a founding board member of the Columbus Chapter of Conscious Capitalism. Passionate about equality and social justice, she’s served as volunteer and past chair for the HRC Columbus Gala and she is the executive sponsor of IGS’s PRIDE community (ERG).
She lives in Upper Arlington with her husband, Josh Flynn, and daughters, Parker and Marin.
