Since 1994, AIAM has been an accredited institute for medical education located in Columbus, Ohio and offers programs in Acupuncture, Western Massage Therapy and Nursing. Helen graduated from Ohio Dominican College with a degree in art.

Helen has been studying martial arts since 1978. She has a passion for various disciplines, dedicating her life to pursuing and practicing the external and internal martial arts systems. She has competed nationally and internationally as a member of the US Tae Kwon Do team and now focuses on internal practices.
Helen also plays the bass with an eclectic musical group called Wednesday Wine, and also for singer Carole Walker, that regularly performs around Central Ohio.
Helen is proud to be a member of the Stonewall Board and looks forward to contributing to the success of the organization and serving the GLBT community.
