Get here, Stay here

Parking, Transportation, and Lodging

Get here and stay here. With well over 200,00+ people visiting downtown Columbus June 14th and 15th we encourage you to plan ahead!

PARKING

If you’re flying in, driving in or car sharing to get here parking can be complicated! Some areas of downtown and the Short North require residential parking permits, so make sure you look for signs designating parking zones and the payment process. Parking is easier when you know your options!

Parking Kiosks & Mobile Payments

The City of Columbus strategically places paid parking in areas where parking is in high demand.  Paid parking is used to manage on-street parking to encourage the turnover and keep spaces from being used for extended periods. By managing curb-space, paid parking allows drivers to easily find parking and identify spaces designated for public use. Parking durations, rates, and times vary according to location. Parking durations range from 30 minutes to no time limit, depending on parking demand. Rates also vary and are predetermined according to parking analysis performed before and after meter placement.

There are multiple ways to quickly pay for parking.

  • Pay using a mobile device,
  • Customers may scan to pay,
  • Text to pay, or
  • Call to pay.
  • To pay at the nearest kiosk, customer must identify their zone using street signs, enter their license plate and pay with coin or card.

Additional City of Columbus parking information can be found here parkcolumbus.com
