Community Marchers

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED!

March with Stonewall Columbus at the Pride March!

Stonewall Columbus welcomes everyone in the community to march with us to celebrate and commemorate the accomplishments of those who have paved the way before us, to stand up for rights and justice for those in our community who are still oppressed and unheard, and to march toward a future in which everyone can thrive!

What is a Community Marcher?

Community Marchers are individuals, friends, and families who will march toward the front of the procession immediately behind the Stonewall Columbus contingent. These are marchers who are not associated with a business, organization, church or school. Looking to register a group of marchers associated with a business, organization, church or school? Click here.

What are the rules?

  • All registered Marchers receive a wristband that MUST be worn to march. These wristbands will only be provided to you at check-in on the day of the March. Additional wristbands will not be available on the day of the March.

  • No vehicles are permitted.

  • Stonewall Columbus does not release any personal contact information about registered individuals; however, registered participants acknowledge that their photo may be taken and posted by Stonewall Columbus and Pride March spectators.

  • PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED. The March is nearly 2 miles, and the pavement and sun are very hot. For the safety of your pets, please leave them at home. This excludes certified service animals.

  • Families, churches, young adults, and children all attend and participate in the Columbus Pride March. We ask that you do your part to keep the march full of good taste.

  • Backpacks and other bags are all subject to search by CPD and Stonewall Columbus Leadership/Staff.

  • All firearms and weapons of any kind, loaded or unloaded, concealed, or exposed, are strictly prohibited throughout the Parade.

  • You will be cited for drinking alcoholic beverages along the route. Without question, CPD will remove you from the procession. Please follow all open container laws.

  • Community Marchers are prohibited from passing out objects or distribution of literature. You are free to carry banners and signs with a few restrictions: All signage, whether handheld or worn on body, must be LGBTQ-affirming, reflecting our community in the most positive light. Campaigning or political fundraising is prohibited.

  • All participants are responsible for all acts and/or omissions on their part that may result in injury or damage to themselves or others. Registered Marchers specifically agree to indemnify and hold Stonewall Columbus and its agents, volunteers, and employees free and harmless, and to defend it from any and all claims arising out of such acts or omissions.

REGISTRATION NOW CLOSED!

The 2023 Pride March Registration is open! March Registration will close May 1st at 5:00 PM. Pride 365 Sponsors will be sent a DIFFERENT link to register for the March. All groups must be registered in order to participate in the March!
