The John William Lord Legacy Circle is Stonewall Columbus’s legacy giving society, named in honor of John William Lord, a beloved member of our community who passed away in 2024 and made a generous legacy gift that will impact generations to come.
John was known for his vibrant spirit, commitment to wellness and community, and his unwavering belief in a world where LGBTQ+ people are seen, safe, and celebrated. His bequest to Stonewall laid the foundation for this circle of changemakers.
How to Join the Legacy Circle
- Include Stonewall Columbus in your will or estate plans
- Name Stonewall Columbus as a beneficiary of a retirement account, life insurance policy, or charitable giving vehicle
- Make an endowment gift of $50,000 or more to support the future of our mission
