@ John Bryan State Park
We will be hiking the “North Rim Trail” which goes into Clifton Gorge Nature Preserve (which means no pooches… sorry). Up and back it is approx. a 4.5 miles hike and should take us 2 hrs. It is very hilly, with a lot of rocks (sometimes wet)… so this is a medium level hike and wear shoes with good treaded soles. It can be muddy too with all of the recent rain… so probably wear something other than just tennis shoes. We will be meeting at the lower Shelterhouse which can be accessed through the SR 370 Park Entrance. Stay to your right at the fork in the road after you enter the park. Go all the way to the bottom of the road and you will dead end into a circular parking lot. The Shelterhouse is right beside that parking lot.
We will leave the Shelterhouse PROMPTLY for the hike at 10:30am so please arrive a little early. There are restrooms on the premises.
More details to come!
