@ Hocking Hills State Park
This is going to be a somewhat strenuous hike (but beautiful!). It is definitely a high-medium level hike…. at least in comparison to what we have been used to. It is almost 6 miles and will take us about 3 1/2 hrs in total. Wear shoes with VERY GOOD TREAD and we suggest a bottle of water and maybe even a little granola bar snack.
We will start at Old Man’s Cave trail then continue to Cedar Falls via the Buckeye Trail (2.5 miles, and strenuous in parts) Then, we will return to Old Man’s Cave via the Gorge Overlook Trail (2.9 miles, very easy hike).
We will meet at the beginning of the hike at the south end parking lot at Old Man’s Cave. We do have a map here for this location. You can set your GPS to:
19852 Ohio 664, Logan, OH 43138
But the parking lot is off SR 374 (see map) so ya might need to take this with a grain of salt. We will leave promptly at 10:30am for the hike. We would advise no children or pets for this one since it is a little tough. But with the children/minors…. you can use your own discretion.
