We will meet all at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center
@ 505 W Whittier St., Cbus 43215
Then proceed north on the Lower Scioto Greenway Trail and through Bicentennial Park. From there we will go west across the Broad St bridge and then go south through Genoa Park. Then we shall return to the Scioto Greenway Trail and the Audubon Nature Center where we began. This is a very easy trail, mostly paved and will take 1 1/2 hrs at the most. We will then decide where we will all go to lunch via group decision. This is a really fun urban hike that explores our beautiful CBus downtown.
From what we can tell on the website…… this is dog-friendly… here is what it says on the website “Domesticated dogs and cats are permitted in picnic areas, roadways and on designated pet trails. Pets shall be on a leash no longer than 6 feet.” Scioto Greenway Trail where we are doing most of our walking is listed as pet-friendly. Here is park/trail webpage…
We will leave on the hike promptly at 10:30 AM so please be there a little early.
