Author bio: Dr. Joelle Henneman (she/her/hers) serves as the Senior Pastor of the United Methodist Church for All People. Her passion for ministry comes in widening the circle of God’s love to include all people. She has spent the last 15 years in relationship with people experiencing homelessness and living in poverty. She recently graduated with her Doctor of Ministry from Pacific School of Religion where she focused on transgender leadership. Joelle posts daily at TransPreacher.com on topics of faith, culture, and politics.

About the book: Transgender people are often treated like an issue to be debated, leaving us feeling that we need to defend ourselves.
