My name is Gabe and I’m beyond thrilled to join Stonewall Columbus as the Adventure Pride Facilitator. I am a Columbus native and lived in Boston for 10 years before returning to my home state to live my exuberant queer life here in the Midwest. I currently live in the Short North with my amazing daughter and my delightfully silly dog. \nI’m an engineer by day but love to get outside and experience the wholeness of the wild\, natural world. I love rock climbing\, mud races\, kayaking\, gardening\, painting\, and improv. My most recent adventure was a 130-mile solo kayaking trip that left from Columbus and followed the Scioto River until it merged into Ohio River. It was as fun as it was challenging\, and the time in nature empowered me to connect to my inner strength and beauty. \nI hope to use my role at Stonewall to do some of my favorite things: connecting with people\, honoring my body through movement\, and being out in nature. I’m so excited to meet you all as we go on outdoor adventures and explore some of the amazing space central Ohio has to offer. \n

This group is not intended as a mental health treatment. \nTo register Women’s Out Network\, please complete this PARTICIPANT FORM.  Questions? Debussy is a lecturer in women’s\, gender\, and sexuality studies at the Ohio State University.\n

DESCRIPTION:Celebrating PRIDE and donating to the LGBTQ+ community through fundraising for the non-profit\, charity organization\, Stonewall Columbus from Monday\, June 15 to Monday\, June 29.\nLive drawing for prize giveaways (5 total winners) on Twitch: Monday\, June 29 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM ET – giveaways include sponsored\, physical items from @false_gods.co and @muddleinpuddles. \nNo registration necessary for a chance to win a prize during the giveaway\, but must be an active follower of @muddleinpuddles on Twitch to enter – prior to live drawing on June 29. \nWinners: You will be contacted directly by Puddles – please reach out to them via Twitch or Instagram if you have any follow up questions after the event. Mailing address is required for shipment of the prized item won via the completion of provided Google Form. Winners will receive a direct link from Puddles to the private online form to securely provide information to process the shipment of the items. \nLive streams will be every Monday\, Wednesday\, and Saturday – all month – catch the live streams\, or the published video replays after\, for more fundraising information and giveaway details at twitch.tv/muddleinpuddles. \nEvery donation during this event will go to the programs and services of Stonewall Columbus.
