SUMMARY:Adventure Pride
DESCRIPTION:Adventure Pride – 2025 Dates\nWe’re excited to get Adventure Pride back up & moving in 2025! \nPlease complete the form below to share more about yourself and which activities you’re interested in joining.  The information you provide will only be shared with the program facilitator and staff at Stonewall – your contact information will only be used for the express purpose of this program\, unless you opt-into receiving our monthly newsletter. \nHere is some info about this year’s activities that may help you decide which are best for you:\n \n\nAll activities meet at 10am on Saturdays\nThe specific meet-up locations will be emailed to you the Friday before each outing\nWe will share details about each location\, to the best of our knowledge\, including ADA accessibility\, difficulty level\, and if pets are welcome (service animals are always welcome)\nThe facilitator will have a liability waiver for you to sign before the start of each outing\n\n\nOur new facilitator for 2025 is Gabrielle McDonald (she/her/hers) – learn a bit more about Gabrielle below:\nHello fellow queer adventurers! My name is Gabby and I’m beyond thrilled to join Stonewall Columbus as the Adventure Pride Facilitator. I am a Columbus native and lived in Boston for 10 years before returning to my home state to live my exuberant queer life here in the Midwest. I currently live in the Short North with my amazing daughter and my delightfully silly dog. \nI’m an engineer by day but love to get outside and experience the wholeness of the wild\, natural world. I love rock climbing\, mud races\, kayaking\, gardening\, painting\, and improv. My most recent adventure was a 130-mile solo kayaking trip that left from Columbus and followed the Scioto River until it merged into Ohio River. It was as fun as it was challenging\, and the time in nature empowered me to connect to my inner strength and beauty. \nI hope to use my role at Stonewall to do some of my favorite things: connecting with people\, honoring my body through movement\, and being out in nature. I’m so excited to meet you all as we go on outdoor adventures and explore some of the amazing space central Ohio has to offer.

SUMMARY:Tiny Table Talks at Stonewall - The LGBTQ+/Queer Agenda: Protest\, Advocacy\, & Liberation - What’s Next?
DESCRIPTION:• What’s next for queer advocacy as we enter a new presidential administration? \n• What does the future of the LGBTQ+/Queer agenda look like socially? Politically? \n• How do we work together while ensuring individual identity-based advocacy doesn’t get lost/diluted? \n• What does intersectional identity-based advocacy look like? \n• How does infighting strengthen or weaken our collective action? \nFor decades\, LGBTQ+ identities have been under a microscope—marginalized in political\, social\, and cultural spaces. Our identities are often debated more than they are defended. While we’ve witnessed meaningful progress\, this fight is far from over\, and we are once again facing a wave of regressive policies and rhetoric\, particularly targeting trans and gender-diverse communities. \nAs we prepare for the next phase in our political landscape\, we ask: What does the future of LGBTQ+ advocacy look like? How do we turn frustration into focused\, strategic action? What does organizing look like now—across identities\, across movements\, and across institutions? And how do we move beyond performative allyship and toward shared\, sustained liberation?

SUMMARY:2025 Stonewall Columbus Pride March
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, June 14\, 2025\n\n\nMarch Step Off @ 10:30 AM at Broad St. & High St.\n(the procession will travel north on High St. toward Goodale Park) \n\nJune 28\, 1969 marked the beginning of the Stonewall Uprising\, a series of events between police and LGBTQ+ protesters that stretched over six days. While the Stonewall Inn and Uprising became well known due to the media coverage and the subsequent annual Pride traditions\, it was simply the fulcrum upon which years of LGBTQ+ activism shifted. \nThe first Pride march in Columbus\, Ohio was held in June 1981. Only 200 people were in attendance\, and some even wore bags over their heads to conceal their identities. \nWhen we last gathered in person\, in 2024\, we were joined by over 20\,000 marchers\, representing a vast array of non-profits\, activists\, community organizations\, corporate sponsors\, small businesses\, and political candidates! \n \nHelp us celebrate and recognize our PRIDE by joining us–OUR COMMUNITY MUST BE SEEN! \n2025 MARCH PARTICIPATION REGISTRATION IS OPEN!\nRoad Closure Information\nTBA
