My name is Gabe and I’m beyond thrilled to join Stonewall Columbus as the Adventure Pride Facilitator. I am a Columbus native and lived in Boston for 10 years before returning to my home state to live my exuberant queer life here in the Midwest. I currently live in the Short North with my amazing daughter and my delightfully silly dog. \nI’m an engineer by day but love to get outside and experience the wholeness of the wild\, natural world. I love rock climbing\, mud races\, kayaking\, gardening\, painting\, and improv. My most recent adventure was a 130-mile solo kayaking trip that left from Columbus and followed the Scioto River until it merged into Ohio River. It was as fun as it was challenging\, and the time in nature empowered me to connect to my inner strength and beauty. \nI hope to use my role at Stonewall to do some of my favorite things: connecting with people\, honoring my body through movement\, and being out in nature. I’m so excited to meet you all as we go on outdoor adventures and explore some of the amazing space central Ohio has to offer. \n

DESCRIPTION:Our next session starts April 16th – grab your dancing shoes & let’s boogie!\n\n\n\nPlease read through the details of the class thoroughly before completing your transaction. The class takes place over the course of 6 weeks. \nAdvanced participants who have received the go-ahead from Jeff should plan to arrive at 6:15pm. If Jeff has not discussed attending this early session\, please plan to arrive at 7:15pm. \nClass fees:\n\nIndividuals: $30 per person (+cc fees)\nor $20 for Stonewall members (+cc fees)\n\n\nCouples: $50 per couple (+cc fees)\nor $30 for Stonewall members (+cc fees)\n\n\nPayment is required prior to the first class.\n\nThere is a minimum of 4 couples or 8 singles for this class. If the minimum requirement is not met\, the class will be cancelled and class fees will be refunded. \nAbout the Class: Whether you are learning to dance for a special occasion or just want to have some fun on the dance floor\, come learn in an accepting and fun environment. Classes are open to everyone with or without a dance partner\, with all genders and gender pairings welcome. \nEach six-class session rotates between Block 1: Waltz\, Tango\, and Cha Cha & Block 2: Foxtrot\, Rumba\, and Swing. Beginner students will learn the basics of each dance and a few beginner steps.
