SUMMARY:Soberfest Ohio 2025
DESCRIPTION:Soberfest Ohio shows the newcomer\, or those early in sobriety\, you can still enjoy live music and have a great time while sober. \nOur mission is to create an event for people to experience fun in sobriety. Soberfest Ohio shows the those early in recovery\, you can have more fun sober to live music! \n\n\nThe 13th annual Soberfest Ohio is a way for families to spend a fun drug and alcohol-free day\, filled with fellowship for newcomers\, people in recovery and allies. The event shows people you can enjoy loud live music while sober in a safe\, judgment-free environment. Soberfest is organized by a committee of volunteers who belong to the recovery community. It creates an opportunity for anyone willing to be of service and volunteer to help plan the event or help on the day of. Soberfest Ohio consists of live music\, speakers\, food trucks and a Kidzone with games and activities suitable for the whole family. There are an abundance of resource partners to help link attendees to critical services within the community. \nSoberfest Ohio was an idea born at a time of absolute despair. One of our founders was sitting in a treatment center\, lamenting the life he thought he would have to leave behind. The parties\, the concerts\, the fun would leave his life too. In the midst of working to recover\, he came up with the idea\, Soberfest Ohio\, a one-day celebration of all the things he loved absent the things he no longer needed – drugs and alcohol. \n\n\nLEARN MORE HERE

Admission is free\, but tickets are required. Tickets can be obtained at https://givebutter.com/MamaBearsColumbus. A donation is not required to obtain tickets. SUMMARY:TRAILBLAZERS LUNCH & LEARN with MEGAN HASTINGS
DESCRIPTION:AUGUST 20TH\n11:00AM-1:00PM \nSTONEWALL COLUMBUS\n1160 NORTH HIGH STREET \nOn Wednesday\, August 20th we will have a Lunch & Learn on the significance of pollinators. Pollinators\, including bees\, birds\, bats\, and insects\, are crucial for plant reproduction and play a vital role in maintaining healthy ecosystems and food security. They are responsible for the pollination of flowering plants\, including many of the crops we rely on for food. Without them our food supply would be significantly reduced and ecosystems would suffer. This fascinating subject will be presented by Megan Hastings a master gardener from the OSU extension. The session starts at 11:00 at Stonewall with lunch provided by LifeCare Alliance to follow the presentation. REGISTER HERE
