Rather than treating history as something distant or inevitable\, Stonewall reminds us that change is often driven by ordinary people pushed to a breaking point – people who were scared\, angry\, hopeful\, exhausted\, and unwilling to disappear quietly. \nAs we move through Pride month together\, this month’s discussion invites us to reflect not only on LGBTQIA+ history itself\, but on the ways resistance\, community\, survival\, and visibility continue shaping queer life today. It’s a chance to connect with the roots of Pride while also considering what it means to carry that legacy forward now. \nAs always\, Lavender Library isn’t about having the “right” interpretation.
