Rini Das was born and raised in a politically active family in Calcutta, India. After receiving her B.S. in mathematics from St. Xavier’s College, she moved to the United States and obtained an M.S. in applied mathematics from the University of Iowa and an M.A. in economics from SUNY Stony Brook.
Rini makes her living as a management consultant and entrepreneur. In 2003 she founded RD Management Consulting, which helps Fortune 500 companies and large organizations make business improvements. In 2008, Ms. Das co-founded PAKRA Games, which provided gamification via video games and data-driven, human-capital management software to companies around the world. Rini also co-ran the Diversity Council of a healthcare system in Cincinnati. In November 2016, she advocated for the protection of undocumented residents in Columbus, OH.
Rini resides in downtown Columbus with her wife.
